We process your personal data in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter “GDPR”).
In the following, we would like to inform you about the rules according to which we collect and store your data and about your rights. Any processing of your personal data will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of generally applicable law, including, in particular, the aforementioned GDPR Regulation, as well as the Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended (hereinafter: the “Data Protection Act”).
The GDPR, in its article 4.1, defines personal data as any information that allows a natural person to be identified, directly or indirectly. This includes, but is not limited to, name, telephone number, e-mail address or image. It also includes information about your location transmitted by smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices.
In addition, we would like to inform you that data protection under the GDPR applies only to the data of natural persons and therefore does not extend to legal persons.
The processing of personal data is basically any action on personal data, whether or not carried out by automated means, such as collection, storage, recording, organization, modification, consultation, use, disclosure, restriction, deletion or destruction.
The data controller is the entity responsible for the collection of personal data. The data controller is also the person to whom you can address any request regarding the collection and processing of your personal data. The Data Protection Officer can be contacted on all matters concerning the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights related to the processing of personal data.
As a general rule, we only process personal data when it is genuinely necessary for the provision of a service or the performance of a contract. In this case, we process the personal data of SLS's clients, people who contact SLS to obtain information about an offer, to send comments about services or products, to enter into collaboration or to conclude a contract, in particular the following personal data: name, surname, home address, e-mail address, telephone number.
We do not process any data other than the above. At the same time, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that each time you provide us with information, in person, through the www.slsolutions.pl or www.slsolutions.io website (hereinafter: “The Website”), by e-mail or during a telephone conversation, that includes your personal data other than those indicated above, you will be deemed to have given your express consent to the collection and use of such information in the manner specified in this document or in the place where the information is disclosed.
Our processing of personal data will be lawful, fair and transparent. We process your personal data on the basis of:
- your freely given consent (e.g. by sending us an e-mail or agreeing to receive a newsletter or other form of marketing),
- the realization of the contract entered into, the commencement of the collaboration or the signing of the contract,
- the legitimate interest of SLS as data controller (e.g. for the creation of a database, analytical activities, including activities related to the analysis of the use of products, direct marketing of our own products, securing documentation for the purpose of defending against possible claims or for the purpose of asserting claims),
- legal obligations (e.g. tax or accounting law).
The purposes for which we process your personal data are as follows:
- to ensure the highest possible quality of our services, i.e. if you are or become a party to a contract between us, we will only process the personal data necessary for the performance of the contract, for example your name, telephone number or home or delivery address,
- the performance of the contract concluded, as well as the commencement of the cooperation or the signing of the contract,
- the legitimate interest of SLS as data controller (e.g. for the creation of a database, analytical activities, including activities related to the analysis of the use of products, direct marketing of its own products, securing documentation for the defence against possible claims or for the assertion of claims),
- legal obligations (e.g. tax or accounting law).
The purposes for which we process your personal data are as follows:
- to ensure the highest possible quality of our services, i.e. if you are or become a party to a contract between us, we will only process the personal data necessary for the performance of the contract, for example this would be your name, telephone number or home or delivery address,
- the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller, which are: the execution of contracts and the fulfilment of orders, the proper provision of services to you, the keeping of statistical data relating to visits to our website www.slsolutions.pl or www.slsolutions.io, the improvement of our services and their adaptation to your personal needs, as well as the carrying out of marketing and self-promotion in the market of services.
If you have given your consent, your information will only be shared with trusted third parties.
In particular, your data may be disclosed to our collaborating companies, our subcontractors, collaborators or service providers who assist us in providing the service (e.g. companies providing postal services, courier services, accounting services, related to the processing of orders). The transfer of personal data to other entities does not entitle them to use it freely, but only to process it for the purposes set out in the data processing contract, to ensure the security of the processing and to the extent necessary for the proper provision of services to you and the performance of contracts binding us. The transfer of personal data does not relieve us (as the transferor) of our responsibility for the processing. We would like to point out that your data may also be transferred to a public authority, but only if this is permitted by generally applicable law and if the authority makes a request to this effect.
Your data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Your personal data will be processed for as long as is appropriate from the point of view of the legal relationship between us, i.e. until the basis for processing your personal data no longer exists. For example, in the case of consent, until it is withdrawn, restricted or otherwise limited by you; where the data is necessary for the performance of a contract, for the duration of its performance and, after its performance, until the expiry of the limitation periods for claims arising therefrom; and where the basis for processing is the legitimate interest of the controller, for as long as that legitimate interest exists.
